Recruiters make a very BAD MISTAKE. THIS NEEDS TO STOP !!!


Well, I have been applying at "Career Tab" of many multi-national companies and I have been doing this for the past few months and uptil now, I haven't received any response from these companies. I have been looking for Internship at various places but I haven't received any response yet.

The point here is not to cry for an Internship, but the point is that these companies with HR Department do not function properly. If you have asked candidates to apply for a "Summer Internship Programme" at your organization its your responsibility to write in e-mail that " If candidates do not get a reply within 15 days your application is not selected"  so that a candidate like me who has applied into different companies after these 15days should take it as a rejection because it is clearly written in e-mail but what these companies do is that they leave you hanging for entire life.

If these HR departments are too slow and they think that shortlisting candidates would take alot more time then, after a few days they should atleast send an e-mail to the candidate that they are rejected.

Believe me, a candidate is not depressed for getting a rejection e-mail but he is more depressed if they dont get any e-mail.

Another thing what these companies do is ,for one job,one seat at their organization they open it for the whole country to apply and to my idea there must me thousand candidates plus who apply to that one organization and GOD knows how are they able to shortlist the entire nation for the search of that one maestro.

These companies should learn and adding one sentence in "Job Description" is not a hectic task but it saves alot of time of candidates.
